Hi Punters,

Unfortunately last week was a semi-disaster largely thanks to the inept effort shown by some clubs that would be extremely frustrating to support due to their inconsistency, namely Essendon and Richmond. I expected both of these teams to do a lot better then the effort which was shown and feel like it was largely due to team effort. Richmond looked like as soon as it started raining they weren’t interested whereas Melbourne were just hungry to compete. Hawthorn and Sydney giving up big early leads hurt their chances also and had they each played better first halves they would’ve covered their lines with relative ease I believe. Adelaide reverted back to the old Adelaide way, losing games they should win due to complacency.

This weeks showdown should be a ripper given Port is back on track after 2 big wins and the Crows would’ve got a rocket this week and its their ‘home’ game so have a larger portion of the crowd. Definitely suggest watching this game on saturday afternoon after the Mayweather/Paccy fight. Anyhow on to this weeks bets and I’m not filled with great confidence with the system selections this week. I feel like Carlton could give a good showing with some possible renewed confidence and Richmond/West Coast/Gold Coast could all also cover should they play well.
